Created by Sham Mahabir, Jerk & Beyond aims to showcase the diversity of Caribbean food. A native Trinidadian-turned-Londoner, he launched his first restaurant Limin’ in Old Spitalfields Market last year to wide acclaim.

The Limin’ bar from Plantation will be home to their multi-award winning artisan rums from the great terroirs of the Caribbean: Barbados, Cuba, Panama, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.

Plantation represents the wide variety of island rum flavour profiles, finding old recipes and recreating them using cutting edge distillation techniques.

Guests can enjoy refreshing rum punches, pineapple Daiquiri slushies, Mai Tais, barrel-aged Negronis and Old Fashioned cocktails. Caribbean beers will be flowing and softs range from coconut water to sugarcane juice and premium ginger beer. For the aficionados, tasting flights of Plantation rums will be on offer for those wanting to sip and discover the true spirit of the Caribbean.

Limin’ restaurant and bar will act as the festival hub, located adjacent to the festival and open until 11pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
