London Craft Week
Mon 8th – Sun 14th May
We’re celebrating the art of weaving past and present.
From the 9th – 14th you can take a seat with Stitch School to help create a unique piece of communal embroidery, the Huguenot Supper Cloth. Some sessions will be enhanced by talks on Huguenot history by local historian David Cruickshank.
London Craft Week
Mon 8th – Sun 14th May
On May 9th & 10th we’ll be joined by Majeda Clarke, who will be hosting a series of live demos allowing us to explore the art of the modern weaver.
Meanwhile, from 8th – 14th May The Mercantile London host an exhibition by Devon-based artist, designer and weaver Nancy Nicholson.
Zero Waste Bridal Pop Up
8th – 12th May
Visitors to the pop-up will have the chance to shop the collection while watching Bricolage’s artisans create gowns in their second-floor Spitalfields Market space during the week, and will also be able to create customised tote bags and scrunchies during the launch party on May 11.
EAST Art Fair, HERE & NOW
Sat 20th May
East Art Fair returns to the Market for this accessible art fair that gets even East London’s coolest kids excited.
HERE & NOW is a chance to shop and meet upcoming and established artists including:Dave Towers, Dave B, Marc Denton, Lucille Clerc, The Real Hackney Dave. Lucie Flynn. Oli Fowler and lots more

Making History: The Ceramic Work of Simon Pettet at Denis Severs House
4th May – 4th June
This must see exhibition, at our favourite neighbourhood museum, features work by ceramicist Simon Pettet who reimagined 17th and 18th-century blue-and-white pottery.
