A handpicked collection of chefs and restaurants come together in the Kitchens at Old Spitalfields Market. Cooking an exciting mix of street food and contemporary dishes, this is the ultimate foodie street-food destination in the heart of the City.

The Kitchens form the heart of the market, a central point to enjoy all-day dining at the heated communal tables. The chefs and restaurants, many of whom are East London’s best-kept secrets, range from accomplished nose-to-tail British dining to the lightest and fluffiest Asian buns.  The eclectic mix allows you to experience a range of flavours from different cultures around the world, all in one place.

Ricebrother‘s new Kitchen is not to be missed, offering authentic sweet and savoury tofu puddings and rice rolls you won’t find anywhere else in London.  Join the queue for Dumpling Shack’s cult dumplings and hand-pulled noodles at their “little brother” kitchen next door, Fen Noodles, or Flank’s nose-to-tail comfort food prepared daily on an open fire.

Head to Thousand Knives for vegan sushi sets and ramen bowls and don’t miss the Jain Bing from Pleasant Lady, delicious hand-rolled Chinese pancakes filled with fragrant herbs and spices.

If you’re still hungry, fit in some Taiwanese street food from Jai Ba or perfect fluffy steamed buns from Yum Bun. Phew!
