Pose with a Pumpkin
From Monday 5th October you’ll find our iconic red telephone box dressed for the season.
This year it will be an autumnal wonder, adorned with pumpkins perfect for posing with.
Just locate the phone box in our Commercial Street gate, hop in shot and say “cheese!” (or should that be “pumpkin!”?)

Get Cosy with a Crumble
We can be tempted by Humble Crumble any day of the week all year long, BUT sure if there was a “crumble season” it would be Autumn/Winter.
As such we think it’s only fair to give in to our daily cravings, waving goodbye to summer and hello to hot crumbles with custard.
Humble Crumble’s teased October special looks like a Toffee Apple affair, so keep yours eyes peeled on their social for details and run don’t walk to get your hands on it (this 100% counts as getting your steps in so you will have earned that crumble!).
Shop Spook-tacular Interiors at Tiger
You can’t beat a shop at our Flying Tiger Copenhagen shop to take your house decor for boring to boo-tiful in time for Halloween.
This year they’ve got everything from garlands and ghost LED light to elaborate skeleton candelabras.
Visit the Whitechapel Gallery’s Stunning New Exhibition
From 7th October stroll over to our neighbours Whitechapel Gallery for their incredible new exhibition Cecilia Vicuña: Living Threads.
It’s a unique opportunity to explore Vicuña’s interdisciplinary practice, which intentionally dissolves the boundaries between visual art, poetry, performance, ritual and activism, and encompasses works across painting, textile, photography, installation and film.
Eat a Zucca Pizza
While available all year round from our little blue pizza van, Sud Italia, it’s the perfect time of year to try the “Zucca”.
Featuring Fior di latte mozzarella, Gorgonzola cheese, Extra virgin olive oil, Fresh basil, Parmesan, Pecorino Sardo D.O.P. and some oh-so-seasonal pumpkin, it’s one of our all time favourite pizzas.
Explore the neighbourhood with the Cockney Sikh
Autumn is the perfect time to explore the streets of Spitalfields on foot and who better to guide you than life-long Shoreditch resident Suresh Singh aka The Cockney Sikh. Born in 1962 and raised in Princelet Street, he leads unique tours of the streets he grew up in and still resides in on the 1st and 4th Saturday of every month. Learn more and book here.

See Wallace & Grommit at the Young V&A
Just down the road at the Young V&A you can still visit Inside Aardman: Wallace & Gromit and Friends, an exhibition which is running until November 15th, making it a great half term idea if you’re in need of inspiration.
If you’re visiting the exhibition then heading to the Market for lunch, you might be inspired to eat some “Cheese, Grommit?”. The good news is unlimited Raclette is back on the menu at Funky Cellar!
