Be My Bloody Valentine

Say it with Art. As the East Art Fair's Valentine's edition approaches, we take a look at some of the 'romantic' affordable pieces available exclusively at this event.

Lucy Bryant

Lucy Bryant is an artist and graphic designer. Responding to contemporary culture, her art subverts the everyday and the banal, always striving to disrupt the ordinary and create something entirely new

Tiffany Cole

Tiffany Cole is a self-taught artist whose work revolves around the female form. Now London based, she was born and raised in San Francisco.

Lucy Pass

Lucy Pass is a fine artist producing contemporary portraiture. Her recent paintings feature vanishing or obscured fragments of faces, inviting the viewer to focus not on what’s visible, but the power of what we cannot see.

Adam Bridgland

Royal College of Art graduate Adam Bridgland uses a diverse range of materials and working methods to pursue an incisive and often witty exploration of distinctively British sentiments, externalising the underlying sense of loss and nostalgia that permeates our memories.

Heath Kane

Heath Kane draws inspiration from his commercial art background and origins of urban art – a blend of design and art. His approach follows the practice of design thinking, with a focus on creating simple, iconic and memorable pieces that have the ability to tell stories.

Ben Allen

Ben Allen uses a ‘collage’ style of unlikely juxtapositions to create dynamic paintings that mash-up popular culture to critique the day-to-day, the dull and mundane, challenge the media’s view on sexuality and inspire a sense of freedom.

H

Antony Haylock, or ‘H’, as he is affectionately known, has been a designer, art director, sculptor and painter, producing hugely diverse work on an international scale for over twenty years. His art draws on his commercial background, adding a twist of humour.

Sara Pope

Contemporary artist Sara Pope is best known for her bold, seductive paintings of voluptuous lips. Taking inspiration from a successful career in the fashion industry (as a shoe designer for brands such as Paul Smith), and also her work in magazines as a designer and art director, Sara aims to capture the sensuality and seductive power conveyed by the lips and mouth.
