Alternative Ways to Celebrate the Royal Wedding

Make like a Markle and get regal this weekend.

You don’t have to be a royalist (or even a fan of The Crown) to enjoy our array of events inspired by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials this Saturday, May 19th.

Prep your posy…

On Friday 18th May join Jo Malone London as they host a Blossom-inspired masterclass, with our resident florists, Rebel Rebel. Indulge in pink prosecco and sweet treats while crafting your very own posy fit for Windsor.

Watch from the Market Bar…

Whether you want to see the ceremony unfold with an avid eye, or just cast it the odd glance, you can do so from the comfort of the Old Spitalfields Market Bar. They will be opening at 11.30am to ensure you’re in your seats, with English Sparkling Wine in hand for the ceremony at 12.

Enjoy a right royal after party…

Celebrate the union through the medium of music, as DJ Muzz Khan plays US and UK tunes back to back from the Market Bar, to decide which fair nation is king of the playlist.

Put a crown on it…

Why should the Windsors have all the fun? Our free paper crown workshop will invite kids and big kids to create their very own regal head-topper.

Get Eton Messy…

Eton College is not just famous as the prestigious school of Princes Harry and William, it’s also home of the quintessentially British dessert, Eton Mess. Royal wedding week will see our resident pudding purveyors Happy Endings serving up their own interpretation, the ‘Eton Messy Fancy Pants’, featuring strawberries, meringue, shortbread, basil, white pepper and topped with strawberry sauce.
