The future’s looking bright at Old Spitalfields Market with new openings galore transforming our food and retail scene for 2022.

Head down to the market this January and you’ll discover a whole host of newly opened shops and restaurants. Following hot on the heels of fitness phenomenon Peloton and Scandi basics brand Colorful Standard, who both opened in 2021, considered menswear tailoring brand Wear London and sustainable adventure-wear specialist Meander Apparel both opened their doors in December 2021.

There’s food and drink news too with five new openings to tempt you in, including award-winning wings and burger joint CoqBull, retro chic cheese shop, wine bar and deli Funky Cellar, Indian street food by The Indians Next Door (their first stand alone shop) and two unique bar and dining venues The Loft mezzanine bar and Lamb Street’s Merchant and Weaver from the team behind Bermondsey Bar and Kitchen.

Watch this space as continue to bring new and exciting brands to the Market, offering space to both internationally recognised brands and independents.

Keeping the mix alive is the essence of what we do and what makes us an unrivalled shopping destination in East London.
