Art on a Postcard: Urban Art Exhibition and Secret Auction

Tues 2 - Sun 7 Jul

This summer we are delighted to play host to Art on a Postcard’s latest exhibition and auction: Urban Contemporary Art and Street Photography.

Curated by world renowned urban artist Ben Eine and the documentary photographer Dougie Wallace – this exhibition and auction will bring together an international line up of talent including Antony Lister, Pejac, Lady Pink, Vhils, Pichiavo, Miss Van, Faith XLVII, Ed Kashi, Melanie Einzig, Gus Power and Craig Reilly.

Around 600 unique postcard sized photographs and artworks will make up a display of all of the best urban art talent from around the world but, as always with Art on a Postcard, the identity of the artist will be hidden until after the sale.

All the bidding starts at £50 and with the urban art world merging into the fine art world, bidders could end up with a valuable piece of art for an incredible price. For the first week of July the exhibition will be on show to the public on central the market mezzanine and available to bid on via Paddle8

A private view will be held on 2 July and Art on a Postcard will be joined by Jealous Gallery who will be live screen printing and releasing an iconic Ben Eine ‘S’ for Spitalfields.

On the Saturday 6th July Art on a Postcard are curating five stalls in Old Spitalfields Market and will be joined by the artists Sara Pope and Rugman.
